The entry list is still increasing and we are keeping entries open right up until midnight Friday night for online entries – and then at the desk on the day. It’s set to be an awesome event and we can’t wait to welcome you.

SAILING INSTRUCTIONS

Sailing Instructions are now live and can be accessed via the link below. Please note that a competitor briefing for ALL sailing classes will be held at 0930 hours at the club, while foiling classes will have a briefing at 1230 hours at the North Haven Surf Life Saving Club.

Also please take note of the course areas and start times. If your class is not listed in the schedule of start times, you will be notified at the briefing as to which start you are part of.

RIGGING / LAUNCHING

Rigging and launching for all OTB sailing classes will take place at the North Bank around on the far side of the club’s marina (see the map below). Rigging can take place on the lawned area near the boat ramp and can spill out into the bitumen area. There is also a spaces allocated for road trailers. Any overflow (if required) can rig and launch at the bank in the left corner of the Sports Boat area.

Sports Boats and Trailables will have access to the boat ramp at the North bank and crane facilities along the club’s eastern boundary, as well as a specific berth for each boat for the weekend. The club’s General Manager Adam South will contact skippers directly providing them with information on their berthing area.

The crane will be trusted to competitors to use themselves, however if assistance is required please contact Adam South (details at foot of the email).

Any support boats must apply at the registration desk for a berthing location prior to putting their boats in the water. These locations will most likely be out the front of the clubhouse.

KITEFOILERS / WINGFOILERS

A big thanks to the North Haven Surf Life Saving Club which has partnered with us to help facilitate our foilers! Kitefoilers and Wingfoilers will be able to launch off their beach, with the exact location guided by their surf life savers, and change room and coffee shop facilities will be available from 9am through to mid afternoon.

The club has encouraged all foilers to enjoy the NHSLSC facilities as if they were their own, and then after racing to come to RSAYS just down the road to enjoy the post-send festivities with the yachties.

Plus there’s an added benefit to the foilers – your first beer/wine back at RSAYS is on us!

Your briefing is at 1230 hours at NHSLSC – and for those competitors without an Australian Sailing Number, please fill out a Weekend SailPass with the club to ensure you’re covered by their insurance.
(it’s FREE and the form takes only two minutes)

FREE SAILPASS AVAILABLE

If you are not an active member of a club affiliated with Australian Sailing, you will need to apply for a weekend SailPass through RSAYS.

The process only takes a few minutes and is absolutely FREE. So head to the link below and follow the prompts – as you will be asked for your AS numbers at the registration desk.
